1. The agreement
These terms apply when you use Prodint, a service run by TOL, Inc. (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Prodint for a company, you confirm that you can agree on its behalf, and “you” means that company too.
2. Your account
Give us accurate details and keep your password and API tokens safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account and in workspaces you own, including what the people you invite do there. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has access to your account.
3. What Prodint does
Prodint visits the websites and apps you point it at, reads them, and uses automated analysis, including AI models, to build product maps, comparisons, rankings and review digests. We add and change features over time and may stop offering some of them.
4. Using it responsibly
You agree not to:
- use Prodint for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- sign in to a site during a crawl with an account you're not entitled to use, or share credentials in breach of that site's terms;
- use Prodint to get around a site's access controls, paywalls or technical limits;
- point Prodint at a site in a way meant to overload or disrupt it;
- republish or resell crawled content as it stands, rather than using it for your own research and analysis;
- probe, attack or reverse engineer Prodint, or resell access to it, without our written permission.
You're responsible for how you use the sites you crawl and for following their terms. Prodint honours
robots.txt, and site owners can limit or block it (see for site owners).
5. Your content
What you put into Prodint and the results it produces for you (dossiers, maps, comparisons, rankings) are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. Content crawled from third-party sites stays the property of its owners.
6. Results are an aid, not a guarantee
Prodint's results come from automated crawling and AI analysis. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong: a feature can be missed, a page misread, or a depth or value score can be off. Check anything important against the evidence Prodint shows before you rely on it.
7. Payment
Some parts of Prodint are paid. Prices are shown before you buy, and payments are processed by Stripe. Unless the checkout says otherwise, purchases are non-refundable, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. We may change prices; a change won't affect anything you've already paid for.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data is covered by our privacy policy.
9. Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using Prodint at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk. Where we reasonably can, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.
10. Disclaimers
Prodint is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you keep using Prodint after that, the new terms apply.
